We have learned from years in the business that many of our customers are inexperienced in knowing how to navigate through the process of picking the right stone and the best colors for each location, knowing how to care for the different products, and almost everything else associated with natural stone. We are here to help you from start to finish. Our office will walk you through each step. In this part of the website are many helpful tools for you the customer.
1. Select your stone. If you are doing a kitchen you will likely need to go to one of our vendors (see WHERE TO SHOP). We also have some slabs at our shop. Most kitchens require two or more slabs. If this is a remodel and you already have floors and painted walls and cabinets, take a drawer, tile, and paint sample with you if possible so you can narrow down stone color selections. The vendors have hundreds of colors and it can be overwhelming looking at so many colors if you don't have an idea what color you are trying to find. MPNS has "remnants" at a reduced price from previous jobs that can be used for smaller sections like vanity tops.
2. Get an estimate/measurement from MPNS. If you have a blue print or accurate drawing of the project, get that to the office (physically or by fax or email). Once you have made color selections, our office will do a "take off" measurement and give an estimate which will be emailed to you. Every line item is indicated on the estimate, not just one bottom line number. Of course an estimate is exactly that------the actual price of the job is known when the final stone selections are decided and an onsite measurement is done by Michael Paul.
3. Consider other services we offer. Our showroom has a good selection of tiles available for your project. We also have a good installer we can connect you with who works with us on many projects. We have quality sinks available and purchasing from MPNS saves you money most of the time. In our showroom you can see some of our products already installed on sample counter tops.
We can recommend one of the top cabinet shops in the area. After installing on hundreds of cabinets we have discovered not all cabinet makers do a good job. We also have a good licensed plumber and a licensed electrician we have used on many occasions. We are committed to helping you accomplish the best job possible!
